House rules
Please read before using the guesthouse.
Dear guests! For your pleasant stay, please familiarise yourself with our house rules before using the guesthouse. By using the guesthouse you acknowledge and accept these rules, undertake to comply with them, and take responsibility for any damage caused by non-compliance. The house rules apply to all guests staying in the guesthouse.
Check-in and check-out
Our guesthouse does not have a permanent reception; we hand over the house at a pre-arranged time. The house is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival, and we ask you to leave by 10:00 on the day of departure. A representative of the owner and/or agency is present at the agreed arrival and departure time if required. 24-hour on-call contact: Evelin Erdélyi, phone: +36 30 424 1381.
Payment
The accommodation fee, cleaning fee and tourist tax are settled in advance. We send the invoice by e-mail. If you leave before the end of the booked period, we are unable to refund the accommodation fee.
Visitors
Visitors other than registered guests may only be received after prior notice. If more guests stay in the guesthouse than the number booked and registered, we may charge a surcharge.
Our basic services
In addition to the accommodation, the room price includes full use of the tools and equipment and Wi-Fi access. For stays longer than 1 week we provide cleaning free of charge once a week, with a change of bed linen and towels.
Cleaning
On arrival the guesthouse welcomes you clean and tidy, and you do not need to clean on departure, the guesthouse takes care of that. However, before leaving please strip the bed linen and leave it next to the bed, leave the towels on the bathroom floor or in the shower, and place rubbish in a tied bag in the outdoor plastic bin inside the garden, opposite the gate. Please keep order and cleanliness during your stay.
Guests arriving with a dog
Guests arriving with a dog are kindly asked to:
- not allow the dog onto the upper floor or the bed, or onto the sofa on the middle floor. In case of violation we charge a surcharge of HUF 30,000;
- collect and dispose of dog waste in a bag across the whole property.
Rubbish disposal
Household waste can be collected in the bin under the sink in the kitchen. If it becomes full during your stay, please place it in a tied bag in the outdoor plastic bin inside the garden, opposite the gate. Spare bin bags are in the kitchen, under the sink.
Meals
The guesthouse has a well-equipped kitchen; please use the equipment as intended. Please do not eat in the rooms, use the dining area. Do not put metal objects in the microwave. Before leaving, please wash the used dishes by hand with the provided detergent, or with the dishwasher, which may only be used with the eco-friendly tablet found under the sink. Please remove perishable food from the refrigerator before leaving.
Toilet
Please flush only the provided toilet paper or fully biodegradable, plastic-free wipes. Please leave everything else in the bin in the bathroom.
Heating and cooling
There is 1 air-conditioning unit per floor. Use the 2 remote controls in the house to set the desired temperature; each controls the units on both floors. Please keep doors and windows closed while the air conditioning is on. We are happy to help with any questions.
Smoking
Smoking and removing or disabling the smoke detectors is forbidden inside the guesthouse. Guests who smoke may use the designated smoking area 5 metres from the entrance. Please do not scatter cigarette butts, but collect them and place them in the bins. Smoking inside the guesthouse is always sanctioned with a fine ranging from HUF 5,000 to HUF 50,000.
Fault reporting and responsibility
Please report any malfunction in the guesthouse immediately to prevent more serious damage and accidents. Each guest is responsible for their own behaviour across the whole property. We are not responsible for personal items left in the house or garden. We cannot accept responsibility or pay compensation for damage resulting from events beyond our control (for example natural disasters, hail, or injuries caused by improper use or irresponsible behaviour). Equipment belonging to the guesthouse may not be removed from the premises, even temporarily.
Deposit and damages
Guests are financially responsible for damage caused by negligence or intentionally. In the event of damage we draw up a report on the spot.
Use of furnishings
Please use the furnishings as intended. Please do not move decorative items from their place, and do not take indoor furnishings and household items (beds, bedding, mattresses and similar) out into the garden. If you move furniture during your stay, please put it back before leaving.
Quiet hours
Our guesthouse is in a quiet, peaceful, garden-suburb area, so please be considerate of our neighbours. Tasteful entertainment and music are permitted, but please pay close attention to the volume between 22:00 and 8:00. Persons under the age of 18 may not drink alcohol or smoke anywhere on the property.
Making a fire
Fires may only be lit in the designated fire pit, observing the current fire-safety rules (extinguishing material kept by the fire, flammable materials removed). Please read the fire rules posted near the fire pit before lighting a fire. Before leaving the fire pit, make sure the fire is truly out and thoroughly doused with water; we provide a watering can by the garden tap. Burning anything other than firewood and paper (for example plastic or rubber) is strictly forbidden. Please do not light a fire in windy weather, and always check the forecast first.
Garden
The garden is tended by the host. Please take care of the plants, whether flowers, bushes or trees.
Locking the building and garden
When leaving and overnight, please lock the gates and the building entrance, and close the windows.
Booking and cancellation terms
We confirm every reservation in writing (by e-mail) to our guests.
- The reservation must include the guest’s details and contact information, the exact dates, the exact number of people, and the payment method.
- The reservation becomes effective when we send our written confirmation.
- We accept cancellations in writing in all cases.
