The house
Maroschka is a panoramic cabin at the forest edge in Nagymaros, in the heart of the Danube Bend. Two floors, Danube views and a lush garden, everything you need for a calm retreat.
The bedroom and the view
From the upstairs bedroom, the Danube Bend opening up before you is unforgettable. From the comfortable 180×200 cm bed you can watch the sunrise over the Danube, admire the canopy around the house, listen to the forest, and fall asleep beneath the stars.
The kitchen and living room
The well-equipped kitchen has a 4-burner ceramic hob, built-in fridge, freezer and dishwasher, a stovetop coffee maker, coffee, teas and every cooking tool you need. Eco capsules and eco detergent, cutlery, glasses, plates and separated waste bins are all provided.
The bathroom
A large shower with hidden lighting, both rain and hand showers, and organic toiletries: shower gel, body lotion, shampoo and conditioner. Soft towels and bath sheets per guest, plus a hair dryer and the usual essentials.
The terrace and garden
On the large terrace you can have breakfast in the morning sun or a glass of wine at canopy level, watching the Danube change through the day. In the garden, under the great oak, there is a fire and grill spot with charcoal and firewood; after dark, solar lanterns and string lights set the mood.
A place for a digital detox
Maroschka is a perfect place to slow down. There is no TV. Instead, we provide board games and a carefully curated bookshelf. We have also laid out two yoga mats you can use in the house or on the terrace.
Caring for the environment
The toiletries and dishwasher capsules in the house are eco-friendly, made from natural ingredients, because the wastewater flows into an underground tank where it breaks down. Please help us protect the environment and use the items provided.
